Birdigo Chicken and Custard

Food was hot and good for the most part. I got an array including chicken tenders, tots, Nashville chicken sandwich, coleslaw and some cauliflower bites. Visiting from out of town and stopped at 8th day Brewing and saw the food truck. Got our order and the tray of cauliflower bites were burnt. I passed them around to the couple of people at my table for them to try them because I wasn’t a huge fan, but I thought maybe it was a seasoning thing and that’s why they were black. Then I see from a previous post on Google reviews that these cauliflower bites aren’t supposed to look black. They served a whole tray of burnt cauliflower. Oh well next time if it comes out of the fryer like that think about it and refry another batch.

My wife and 2 daughters visited this place around 12:30 on a Saturday after a softball game. It's a take out only establishment and there were a couple of people ahead of us. The cashier was friendly enough. I ordered 5 chicken tenders (a bit dry and not a lot of flavor without sauce) with Nashville hot sauce as a dipping sauce (but they mistakenly gave me bbq which was fine). My wife got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich (3/5 rating for her) and tots (very good). My 16 year old got the smash burger (really good, melts in the mouth - her words). My 9 year old got the chicken club sandwich (5/5 rating, sauce and chicken was good and very flavorful - her words) and Mac n cheese (I found to be bland, and 9 year old said wasn't very flavorful). We also ordered a quart of their plain custard (vanilla, no toppings). It reminded me of costco soft serve, which I enjoy. Overall, it was a good experience. We ended up spending about $64.

You gotta eat here! I know, I stole that line. But seriously, this was my first visit and I loved it. Smallish storefront, but you can order online, or call in your order and they have ample curbside pickup parking. I chose to order at the counter so I could pay cash. They were crowded but getting orders out pretty quick. They seemed well staffed. Everyone I encountered was courteous. It was a short wait to order and a few minutes to get my order. I got the California Salad, smashers, and fried devilled eggs. Everything was fresh and delicious. And the portions were large. There were four eggs but I ate one b4 taking the photos. I only ate half the salad and eggs and maybe a third of the smashers. I will definitely be going back.

i just want to start by saying that this used to be my favorite food spot in Solon. the food used to be amazing and the portions were amazing as well, considering the prices are NOT cheap. I called in today as i usually would to place an order, and to my surprise, i was told they no longer have the sandwiches i want, and now instead of a chicken breast, they put two tenders on the sandwich. i asked to add cheese, tomatoes and onions to my sandwich and i was told they don’t even carry these items anymore… you sell sandwiches but don’t have cheese?????? ok fine. i go in and get my new tender sandwich and to my surprise, the two tenders are TINY. i stacked two tater tots on top of each other and that was the size of the tender on my sandwich. Next, the buns are NOT TOASTED OR BUTTERED ANYMORE?? I hear there’s new management, and it seems their one and only goal was to destroy this Solon Gem. More than half my sandwich was just bread, no chicken. This place has ONE thing going for them, and that’s the employee Shay (sorry if i misspelled your name). She was amazing but unfortunately i came here for the food… which was anything but amazing. I pray you guys figure this out and return Birdigo to the excellent chicken spot it used to be. #NotMyBirdigo

Was basically served 7 tater tot’s for $3 this is the second time I’ve tried this place and It’s just not great. Tenders are under seasoned. Nashvillle sauce is overly sweet (not even remotely spicy) and has so much sugar that the sauce is crunchy from having unblended sugar granules. Idk just too expensive for the serving sizes and quality. It was fresh though!

One of the best places I have been too in a long time! We got three tenders, a whole cauliflower head and a club chicken sandwich along with Arnold Palmers! The chicken was fresh and beautifully cooked, super crispy! The cauliflower was perfectly cooked and flavorful! Sauces were killer! 1000% recommended to anyone including veggie eaters! Will be back soon!
